Muscle Building Diet
If you want to get the most from your weight training workouts, you need to follow Vince Del Monte’s muscle building advice. He is the leading body building expert online. His program has sold thousands of copies over the last few years, and the reason it has sold so many, is because it is simply, so good!
Not only does Vince’s product include a great weight training program, it also emphasises how important it is to eat the right muscle building diet.
Yet so many people who hit the gym regularly to pump iron and build their muscle mass fail to recognise the importance that diet has on their muscle development. If you want to get maximum growth of your biceps and maximum development of your pectorals, you have to eat the right foods as well as follow the right weight training program.
So what does Vince recommend you eat?
Firstly, you need to make sure your diet is rich in protein. Lean red meat, chicken and turkey are excellent sources of protein, and they also contain other vitamins essential to muscle growth. Eggs are also another great source of natural protein.
Combined with the protein, you should include fish for a source of omega-3 oils, milk to provide calcium to keep your bones strong and nuts as a source of unsaturated fats.
You should eat complex carbs such as oatmeal to fuel your workouts and to stimulate your muscle growth, and avoid everyday carbs such as potatoes and bread. Supplement all of these foods with plenty of fresh fruit and vegetables, whilst avoiding all processed foods, and you will be providing your muscles with all the right ingredients they need to grow and add mass.

Feeding your muscles properly is absolutely critical to maximising the benefits from your body building workouts. Working your muscles without feeding them will lead to limited growth, regardless of how heavy you lift.
As well as lots of detailed dietary advice, you’ll also find the best, and I mean the best advice available online on which weight training exercises you should target each of your muscle groups with for maximum growth in muscle mass and size.
Optimising your weight training workouts for optimum muscle growth, should include lifting heavy, but with fewer reps and sets than most people perform. Lifting heavy is key to maximising your muscle growth. You have to stress your muscles, break them down so that they grow back stronger.
This leads us on to the frequency of your strength training workouts. Most people train with weights far to frequently. When you are lifting heavy, working each muscle group with high intensity just once a week is all you need to do. You heard me, work your muscles once a week only. But when you do, make sure you work them really hard. Then you have to leave a week for the muscle tissue to recover and grow.
I’ve learnt everything above from Vince and a guy called Pete Sisco. I’d recommend both of them as guys you shold listen to if you really want to build your muscle mass. But for all round body building and muscle building diet advice, I have to say there is no one better than Vince Del Monte for producing rapid results.
